Eos Collection

In Greek mythology, Eos is the dawn. On a more scientific note, dawn is the time that marks the beginning of twilight before sunrise. This morning twilight period will last until sunrise, when direct sunlight outshines the diffused light.

I think the colours of dawn are never quite the same. Some gemstones capture the
delicate shades quite well. To me, one of them is Iolite.

The name "iolite" comes from the Greek word for violet. It has also been called "water-sapphire" and "Vikings' Compass" because of its usefulness in determining the position of the sun on overcast days. According to legend, Vikings used iolite slices to reduce glare when checking
the sun’s position.
